Enjoy a walk in the maple bush to see how we collect our sap, watch a video that explains our process from start to finish and purchase any of our maple syrup products available in our emporium.
How to book your tour

Come to our farm 15 minutes prior to your tour start time, dressed accordingly for the weather!
Bookings are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Only 1 group of up to 10 people per available time slot. You are not guaranteed your selected time slot until you have emailed confirmation from Hoover’s Maple Syrup.

March & April Weekend Tours - GUIDED TOURS BY TERRY!
If you want the full Hoover’s Maple Syrup experience, then you want to book a tour with Terry! He is the maple syrup extraordinaire and has the answers to all your maple syrup questions!
Book a tour any Saturday or Sunday from February 24, 2023, until April 21, 2024, and you will be sure to leave knowing all there is to know about Ontario Certified Organic Maple Syrup.
All guided tours include:
a 10-12 minute custom video taking you through the entire maple syrup process from start to finish,
a walk through our state-of-the-art facility showing you all the equipment that are used to make the maple syrup around the Hoover farm,
and enjoying a sample of a fresh batch of Hoover’s Maple Syrup!
Please note that all tours do not offer guided tours back into the maple bush. You are welcome to go back to the bush on your own for a “Self-Guided Tour” to look at the 11kms of lines and equipment, but we highly recommend brining appropriate footwear, such as rubber boots, as it will be muddy!

March and April's tours require a $40 deposit per tour group to hold your tour date and time slot. These spots book up quickly so it is important that you commit to your tour time to ensure everyone has the same opportunities. Your $40 deposit will be applied to any purchase made during your tour and cannot be used at any other time.
Interested in booking a tour during the week of March Break?
We are not offering set tour hours from March 11 - 15, 2024, but we will coordinate with those that are interested in booking a tour during the day from Monday to Friday of March Break. Please complete the online booking form to inquire about available time options.

Hoover’s will email you an invoice for your $40 deposit to secure your selected date and time.
eTransfer your $40.00 to hooversmaple@gmail.com to confirm your tour date and time.
Once payment has been received you will receive an email to confirm your tour date and time.
Bookings are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Only 1 group of up to 10 people per available time slot. You are not guaranteed your selected time slot until you have transferred your $40 deposit and received an email confirmation from Hoover’s Maple Syrup.
$40 deposit is non-refundable if you do not attend your confirmed tour date/time and if you choose to not use it towards a purchase of Hoover’s Maple Syrup product during your tour.

Maple Weekend Tours
Saturday April 6 & Sunday April 7, 2024
Breaking News!
We will be cooking up a pancake meal on Maple Weekend at Hoover’s Maple Syrup.
Pancake meals will be available between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The cost is $7.00 per person, and 4 and under are free. Coffee and Maple Syrup will be donated by Hoover’s Maple Syrup.

Every year during the first weekend of April we celebrate Maple Weekend across all of Ontario! Hoover’s Maple Syrup, winners of the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival Producer of the year 2020, participates by offering FREE guided tours of their maple syrup facility and an opportunity to purchase their fresh and delicious maple syrup products!
