There are more restrictions on how Organic Maple Syrup can be produced compared to conventional maple syrup. kind words from our customers

  • I just have to share our amazing maple tour experience created by Terry & Diane at Hoover's Maple Syrup Farm. We joined an afternoon tour, which started with a high quality video presentation about how maple syrup is made. Then we had a very nice scenic walk across a field towards the sugar bush where we were met by a guide who had shown us all the interesting equipment and how the tapping process worked in practice. In the sugar bush we were surrounded by majestic tall trees, mysterious paths brightly lit by spring sunshine and azure blue sky as a beautiful backdrop. There was this atmosphere of joy and lightness, and hope, which is typical of early spring as a result of awakening and transformation of nature. Back at the Sugar Shack we were shown the rest of the syrup making process. Terry himself gave us a very engaging tour and we learned quite a few interesting details about maple syrup. There were families on the tour and the children enjoyed it immensely. Then we were back at the shop where we got to taste and compare maple syrup flavours. I have actually committed to a specific flavour from now on based on my newly acquired knowledge, and we stocked up on maple syrup for all our delicious breakfasts as we are hoping for a busy summer season. We enjoyed every minute!"

  • I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for the awesome tour yesterday (April 1st). The young guys who gave us the tour were very knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all of our questions without hesitation. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the information and getting to see the maple syrup process. Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to visit and get a glimpse into the organic syrup production."

  • We took your tour last Monday and I wanted to say thanks for a very informative, friendly visit. In a day where everything is so expensive, you are providing something fun and educational for families for free. Your syrup prices were very affordable. Well done and thanks."

  • My family and I visited the Hoover Farm today. What an experience! Terry was so engaging, funny, and pleasant during the entire tour of the operation from start to finish- my kids, wife, and I had a blast and couldn't believe how amazing the syrup tasted! This should be listed as one of Southwestern Ontario's "Must Visit" sites. Will definitely be back! "

  • My sister came to visit me and gave to me a full litre of Hoover's Canada #2 Amber Certified Organic Maple Syrup. Until I tasted your gorgeous Maple Syrup I didn't know that Heaven could be bottled. But, you have done it! Yes it is true, a quick spin of the cap and a languishing glug, and heaven rolls around in my mouth making every taste bud stand up a and yell YAHHOOOOO! When this first happened I was a little concerned at the enthusiastic chorus coming from my mouth until I realized I was just uttering the truth. Thanks so very much for doing what you do. It gives me great pleasure every time I taste Hoover's Maple Syrup.
    — Many Thanks and big Cheers, Murray Polson, Victoria, B.C.
  • Hi Terry, the sweetest maple syrup producer we have ever met: Thank you so much for your terrific welcome when we turned up out of the blue yesterday, 12th April. It was a real pleasure to visit with you and for you to share your enthusiasm for maple syrup. We learnt loads and it was great to be able to ask anything we liked. Your were very generous with your time - a bonus, perhaps, of visiting on the day the frogs started singing! The walk into the bush was worth it, and thank goodness the ground had dried enough to do so.
